0-10V dimming is also called 0-10V signal dimming, which converts 0-10V analog signal into PWM dimming signal, which is a process of analog-to-digital conversion. Through the change of 0-10V voltage, the output current of power supply is changed and the brightness is adjusted.
his kind of dimming has the function of switch, and the turn-on voltage is 0.3V. For example, when the 0-10V dimmer is modulated to 0V, the current is reduced to 0, that is, the brightness of the light is off (with switching function); When the 0-10V dimmer is modulated to a maximum of 10V, the output current will also reach 100% of the output current of the power supply, and the brightness of the light will be 100%.
The dimming principle of 1 V-10 V is the same as that of 0 -10 V. the difference is that 1 - 10 V can not adjust the lamp to the lowest brightness, and the turn-on voltage is generally 0.7 V to 0.8 V. When the 1 to 10 V dimmer adjusts the voltage to a minimum of 1 V, the output current is also changed to 10%; when the voltage is adjusted to 10 V, the output current will reach 100% of the output of the power supply and the brightness of the light will be 100%.
PWM signal dimming
Dimming principle: by changing the power supply into a pulse constant current source, the brightness can be changed by changing the pulse width. If the period of the pulse is tpwm, pulse width is ton, then its duty cycle D is ton/tpwm. The brightness of LED can be changed by changing the duty cycle of constant current source pulse.
PWM dimming is generally realized in the form of control system or dimmer. The control system can control multiple line dimming, can load thousands (ten thousand) W lamps, dimmer generally control the maximum load is about 200 to 300W.
Resistance (potentiometer) dimming
This dimming mode is to change the resistance value of the voltage division resistance in the circuit, so as to change the parameters of the access control circuit to realize the adjustment of the output current and the brightness of the light.
